Differences Between RNS and other Internet Providers

• When dialing up we use PPP (Point to Point Protocol); a vast improvement over the previous SLIP connections that were in-efficient and impossible to maintain; it allows you to use all aspects of the Internet because you are directly connected to the Internet. You are a part of the Internet.
• Unlike online services (AOL, Compuserve, etc.). You have a physical IP address. This insures that you have a reliable high speed connection. As an Internet service provider we do our best to insure you high quality service. With redundant modems, backbones, phone lines, servers, and power sources, your down time should be minimal.

• If your problem cannot be solved over the phone we are always willing to invite you to our office to correctly configure your computer. Our goal is to get you using the Internet as soon as possible.
